Converting Whole Folders of Files

To specify more than one file in a given conversion task be sure to use a wildcard character, the asterisk "*" or the question mark "?"  in the Input File(s) entry box.  You will need to specify the files properly by using the "C:\INPUTPATH\*.EXT" format, where EXT is the file extension of the input files (e.g. C:\Samples\*.TIF).

Once the wildcard has been typed into the Input File(s) entry box two additional options will appear:

Option

Purpose

Save to Input Folder

The output file path will be the same as the input file path.

Do Sub folders

Search and process all files found in the folder and subfolders specified in the Input File(s) entry box.

NOTE: Both the Do Sub folders and the Save to Input Folder check boxes will only visible when the Input File(s) entry box has one or more wildcard characters specified.

For example to convert all of the TIF files within the D:\MyFiles\ folder you would enter the following for the Input File(s):

D:\ MyFiles\*.TIF

If you want to append multiple input files to a single output PDF, see the Advanced Options button and check the Append Image to the end of the PDF File check box.
